About the Colorado Radon Directory

What we do

We organize radon testing and mitigation companies by Colorado city, publish typical local costs, and explain radon risk in plain language using information from CDPHE, the U.S. EPA and published research.

Who writes this site

The Colorado Radon Directory is written and maintained by Zelly Media, with guidance from the Indoor Environments Association (AARST), the national association for radon and indoor air professionals that publishes the ANSI/AARST radon standards and runs the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP).

How listings are chosen

Companies can be added by our team or by request. Listings are researched from company websites, county public health lists and NRPP listings. We note each company's certification and Colorado license where the company or an official list shows it; homeowners should confirm license status with DORA before hiring. Featured listings are paid placements and are always labeled.

How we set cost ranges

Cost ranges come from pricing reported by Colorado contractors and published cost guides, and are reviewed each year. They are estimates. Your price depends on your home, so always get written quotes.
